We use humble mountain ingredients in our meals, but to compensate we strive for the “Marubun taste” which is our long-standing tradition.
Our preparation methods work culinary magic with our humble ingredients.

In our kamonabe (duck hotpot), vegetables are slow simmered with duck to bring out the robust duck flavor. This hotpot is rich in vitamin A and B2. The hotpot broth is packed with the robust flavor and savoriness of duck meat, and you can enjoy the broth to the last drop in a final udon. We provide large portions of duck meat, 250 g per person. You can also enjoy plump salt-grilled river fish.

Made with the finest marbled beef that melts in your mouth. The pot is piled high with plenty of fresh vegetables and 250 g of meat per person.
We also offer Meisui Tofu, a specialty from the Dorogawa River, a region of famous waters.

Fall and winter only: Botan nabe (wild boar hotpot)
Fresh wild boar meat, with sweet fat and no smell, is a winter feast. The meat is procured from local hunters who are connoisseurs.
The fat is rich in collagen.
Enjoy the seasonal flavors in a full-flavored miso (fermented bean paste) broth.

Hirousu (tofu fritters) procured every day from a popular local tofu shop are slow simmered in plenty of broth.

Tofu made with one of Japan’s finest waters is a Dorogawa specialty.In summer, you can enjoy hiyayakko (chilled tofu with toppings).

Meals are provided on tables with chairs in private tatami rooms.
